Day 3 of Bout of Books Read-A-Thon.
Accomplishments from Day 2:
Again, I was too social last night! Darn me, makes the clock strike midnight too soon. Turns out this is a much busier week with almost every evening away from home. However, I am making progress and will carry on, there is hope for the last few days of the Read-A-Thon to make up some lost ground, beside any pages is a success over last month.
Accomplishments from Day 1:
Alas, I was bogged down in the evening and arrived home later than I had anticipated, so short of projections, but progress is inching along.
My overall goal for the week is 950 pages, a modest average of 135 pages a day.
Minimum book plans for the week:

I recently finished Kafka's The Trial, I have been pondering what to write for my final thoughts on this book and have been somewhat struggling. Today's challenge had me thinking about this from a different perspective. I can only image K, the main character, must have felt somewhat like he was in a time warp of alternate reality. Living day to day with your livelihood / life hanging in the balance, but besides not having any control of the situation you don't even possess any tangible knowledge of the situation. |
