The Classic Club spin is in, #1 is the winner. Drum roll please, I will be embarking with Captain Frederick Marryat on Mr. Midshipman Easy adventure.
Doesn't appear to be a well-known classic, written in 1836 this adventure is based on the author's own life experiences. Set during the Napoleonic Wars on the high-sea I am said to be met with duels, pirates, shipwrecks and even some romance.
Now, since this is a lesser known tale obtaining a copy (because I steer clear of free versions of public domain works) is not as quick and easy as a stop at the local bookstore or my local library. However, never fear one is in route and should arrive with plenty of time to finish this high-seas adventure before the July 7th deadline.
